Class Description

Description

Let’s celebrate our rich bounty and see what's in season right now!

In this 2-part mixology series, We'll venture out to the South Pasadena Farmer’s Market and see what is available that day! Then, in a very low-pressure version of ‘Iron Chef,’ we'll create cocktails using what we’ve gotten from the market! We'll make syrups, juices, and cordials with what is fresh and seasonal, and then, using a myriad of classic cocktails as our canvas, we'll come up with our own “farmer’s market” variations!

Cocktails covered include:

  • Margarita
  • Aperol Spritz
  • Tom Collins
  • Bourbon Smash

*You must be at least 21 years old to attend this class. Your age will be verified in person.*

School Notes:
We advise students to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the class start time. It is very important to start all classes on time. Because the lecture and class overview happen at the beginning of each class, losing the first few minutes can make a big difference in the class being successful or stressful for a student.

ICE provides everything you need for your class from aprons to knives and recipes. Students will get to keep the recipe packet you receive in class. In the event that you misplace your packet, email customer service at [email protected] to receive a digital version.

Students can take their food home. There are takeout containers available for transporting your food home.

For those with dietary concerns, there are no substitutions, but we soon will offer meat-free classes as well as gluten-free classes.

Photo Policy: Of course, we encourage photos, so capture memories of your dishes and feel free to tag us @iceculinary!

Refund Policy

There are no refunds or school credit issued when fewer than 48 hours’ notice from the class start date is given. Prior to 48 hours’ notice, a full refund is available, minus the transaction fees. The Institute of Culinary Education reserves the right to cancel any class that fails to attract sufficient enrollment.

In case of cancellation, all students will be notified and a full refund will be given.

There are no make-up classes.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
