This powerful class combines ballet conditioning, Pilates, yoga and mindfulness to cultivate strength from the inside out. Our take on barre is inspiring, fun and produces impressive body toning and flexibility in just 10 classes. All levels welcome.
Important note! Until further notice, all Barre and Fit Flight classes will be floor/mat based and will not use the hammocks as part of our ongoing COVID19 mitigation efforts.
This is a small group class (max 5 students) at our Ballard studio.
Covid-19 Precautions: We have enhanced studio protocols and cleaning procedures for the health and safety of our community. All instructors & students are required to wear a cloth face covering/mask. When you enter the studio, you certify that you: Have not been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, are not experiencing a cough, shortness of breath or sore throat, have not had a fever in the last 48 hours and have not had vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours.
Arrival: The studio opens to students 15 minutes before class time. To allow for plenty of time for our new health and safety procedures, please arrive a minimum of 10 minutes before your class starts. Because of our new cleaning and health protocols, we are not able to accommodate late arrivals.
When you arrive, please leave your shoes in the entryway's shoe rack prior to entering the studio and apply the hand sanitizer provided before entering the reception area (if there is another student in the entryway, please allow them to enter the studio before you come in the building.) You are welcome to use the storage cubbies for any of your belongings. Prior to stepping onto the practice room floor, please wipe your feet with the towels provided and again apply hand sanitizer. Please maintain a distance of at least six feet from the instructor and other students at all times.
Mats, Hammocks & Props: For your comfort, you are welcome to bring a mat or your own hammock to any of our classes. Our mat-based classes are practiced on the floor (which we sanitize between classes.) Our aerial hammocks are laundered after each use and all props are sanitized after each use.
Restroom: our studio shares two restrooms with the other building tenants. During the period of extra health precautions, to limit exposure, we recommend using the restroom prior to coming to class. If you need to use the restroom during class, please apply the hand sanitizer provided before re-entering the studio.
Location & Parking: We're located in the Market Street Center, near Portage Bay Cafe and Stone Gardens (address is 2821 NW Market). You are welcome to park in the parking lot (free for our students; we validate parking) or find free parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
