Ballet IV/V

Intro to Ballet I

Lyrical Workshop (12 & up)

This class will help students learn how to interpret music and lyrics with their movement, and will help dancers develop personal expression and artistry, combining ballet, jazz and modern styles. An understanding of dance as a way to worship is emphasized. This class should be taken along with ballet and/or jazz.

Creative Movement

Fellowship School of Dance @ 1210 Franklin Rd, Brentwood, TN

Students will learn basic steps, develop motor skills and be introduced to musicality and rhythm. Creativity is highly emphasized at this level. In Creative Movement, we introduce students to the Leap 'N Learn curriculum. Must be age 3 and potty-trained by August 15th (no exceptions). This class is designed to be taken for two years, and is for students ages 3-4.

Fundamental jazz exercises and movements are explored to the accompaniment of contemporary music that is fun, clean, and wholesome. Each level builds on the previous level and is designed to be taken for at least two years, unless a student is promoted sooner by an instructor and the director.

Tap I

Students will learn tap steps, rhythms and combinations. Each level builds upon the previous level, adding more complex rhythms and steps. Each level is designed to be taken for at least two years, unless a student is promoted sooner by an instructor and the director.

Pointe II/III

Fundamental jazz exercises and movements are explored to the accompaniment of contemporary music that is fun, clean, and wholesome. Each level builds on the previous level and is designed to be taken for at least two years, unless a student is promoted sooner by an instructor and the director. All jazz classes meet for one hour; once a week. Prerequisite: Jazz II

Jazz II
