This is a 3 part bootcamp series. You must pay to attend each individual session.

Whether you have experience in programming or are looking to get started for the first time, getting involved in the Python community will put you on the fast track to honing your skills. 

In this class, you’ll learn all about Python - including how to get started, what advantages and disadvantages Python provides as a programming language, the essentials of programming in Python, and what tools are available to build applications in Python.

Part 1 - Python Programming: Programming & Python Fundamentals + Control Flow
In part one of this series we'll start with the basics. From a conceptual introduction to programming and the characteristics of Python, we'll move on to cover syntax and get hands on writing code in Python. Coding experience will come in handy, but is by no means required.

Part 2 - Python Programming: Object-Oriented Programming in Python Full-Stack Development
Part 2 will cover Object-Oriented Concepts and Data structures. This is the next step in Python Programming now that you have the fundamentals down.

Part 3 - Python Programming: Common Python Troubleshooting & Intermediate Python
Part 3 is when the fun starts. Based on the skills you learned in part one and two, you'll learn how to retrieve data from APIs, common debugging techniques and principles, and how to use 3rd party modules and packages.

Preparation
Students must bring a laptop with the latest version of Python 3 (that doesn’t say beta) and a text editor pre-installed from https://www.python.org/downloads/ and https://www.sublimetext.com/. 

When downloading Python 3, please ensure you select option to "add Python to PATH" during installation.
School Notes:
For students enrolling in 12 week part time and immersive classes, it is not recommended that you book more than one class simultaneously.

If you can't make it to a class/workshop, please email us at [email protected] at least 7 days before the scheduled event date. No refunds will be given after this timeframe.


In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
