Teaches at Living Your Wild Creativity

Michael Cutlip
An artist with a following in the Bay Area and beyond, Cutlip’s exhibition history includes San Francisco, New York, Chicago, and Vancouver, BC. In 2014, he won the Alameda County Arts Commission Purchase Grant. Cutlip’s work has been acquired by the corporate collections of Microsoft, Bloomingdales, Kaiser Permanente and the David & Lucile Packard Foundation, and is part of singer/songwriter Sarah McLachlan’s private collection. His work is also featured in the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara.

Born and raised in San Francisco Bay Area, Cutlip was exposed to artistic endeavors at a young age through his mother, a writer and musician with a passion for arts and crafts. Despite his creative surroundings, Cutlip discovered art later in life, realizing his passion for visual expression in a drawing course he took at Foothill College. Upon finding his true calling, Cutlip left his Business major to pursue a degree in Fine Art at California State University, East Bay.

Suzanne Jacquot
Suzanne have been a creative since she was three years old when she dug into the earth and found magical creatures living where she would never had imagined. It ignited her curiosity and awe which opened her up to "anything is possible". A few years later in first grade, she was given a set of 48 crayolas. She was told she could use these to make a picture. Suzanne was so bowled over with the perfect beauty of all the colors, she thought how can she make something more beautiful than they are. She managed to trace a big maple leaf she found and carefully filled it will a rainbow of colors and treasured this image for years.

Her education consists of a BFA at UC Berkeley in psychology and design, an MFA from Mills College in sculpture and photography, and an Art Therapy Certificate form Sonoma State University. In 2014, she did an intensive half year mentoring program with a professional working artist. Along with making her personal art, she have run my own graphic design firm, held the position of Associate Dean of Students at California College of the Arts, taught art classes at the junior college level and privately, facilitated cancer support groups using art for healing and led other Art Therapy workshops.

Suzanne has shown her art in various galleries and museum throughout the Bay Area. Two of her most rewarding experiences include receiving the SECA Award from the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco as a most promising artist under 35. The other was collaborating with Lawrence Hall of Science. They co-created an exhibition of the Science and Art of weather. Suzanne displayed her hand colored photographic clouds along with scientific explanations of how clouds are formed and the weather they create.
