Teaches at The House of Yogi

Ashley discovered yoga when she moved from New York to San Diego 10 years ago. She immediately fell in love with the ways that she could alleviate stress by connect to her mind and body. She completed her 200-hour teacher training at Indie Yoga in 2013 and obtained an additional training in Ayurveda and Hatha yoga in Kerala, India in 2015. She is passionate about inviting science and medicine into the classroom to dive deeper into the practice of yoga. She is currently completing her doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University and working toward her Board Certification in Functional Neurology. Her classes are focused on understanding the anatomy of the body and physiology of the breath to enhance the relationship with the self.
