Description
The German Pacific School San Diego (GPSSD) is a Language school open to all students who desire to master the German Language or to enhance their German language skills. The GPSSD offers classes to native and non-native speakers from 2 1/2 years old through adults. The school year consists of 30 weeks and follows roughly the holiday schedule of the public schools. The GPSSD offers classes on different levels on Saturday mornings, weekday afternoons and weeknights as well as field trips and camps with focus on education about German language and culture.
The German Pacific School San Diego strives to foster global awareness in its students to prepare informed and critically thinking global citizens who are able to communicate interculturally.
The German Pacific School San Diego is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in August 2013. The GPSSD is governed by a board of directors, consisting of educators, parents with children in the school, and community members. The GPSSD is a member of the German Language School Conference (GLSC).
The German Pacific School San Diego admits students of any race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded and made available to students of the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, and religion, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies.
