What you'll learn in this interior design course:

Learn about the fundamentals of Hotel Design and the proper use of materials selections.

Students will learn about the different Interior Materials selections and types. Each student will receive a custom tote bag with their own text book with Hotel design reference information, a notebook and pen to take notes during the tour.

After a lecture on Hotel design fundamentals, students will enjoy a lunch in Historic Downtown San Diego in a Designer Chic Restaurant called Currant, in the Sofia Hotel which utilizes Materials in a creative and stylish fashion. The tour will then take the students to tour two San Diego Hotels (The San Diego Marina Marriot Marquis, and the Sofia Hotel) which use materials in a stylish and efficient way.

Students must provide their own transportation and the lunch fee will be $20 maximum. A $25 materials fee is included with the enrollment fee.
