What you'll learn in this watercolor class:

Capture the beauty of the world around you in a loose and fluid style using watercolors! 

In this course, we will focus on drawing for watercolor, color mixing, brush work and critique. Explore how to find the perfect subject to paint, techniques for better composition, editing tips, how to manage the amount of time it takes to paint your piece, and how to apply "the finishing touches."

Students will receive positive feedback and lots of 1-on-1 guidance from the instructor. You'll walk away with confidence and a greater understanding of how to create beautiful paintings in the watercolor medium.

All skill levels are welcome! 

Supply List:

  • variety of Daniel Smith watercolors
  • Escoda brushes: 1 mop and 1 synthetic round (from their "Perla" line)
  • Fabiano paper 100% cotton at 300 grams
  • paint palette
  • soft pencil led
  • white masking tape
  • a backing of light wood, large enough for your paper size
  • and your beautiful smiles :)

Optional Supplies:

  • ​Color Wheel
  • Masking Fluid

Refund Policy
CANCELLED CLASS POLICY

Occasionally Art on 30th may find it necessary to cancel a course or workshop due to scheduling conflicts or instructor cancellation. If this occurs, registered students will be contacted and allowed to transfer to another class or be refunded the full course tuition and any additional fees.

​REFUND POLICY

If something should come up and you are unable to attend your class/workshop, please give us 72 hours notice prior to the start of the class/workshop for a full refund. 

After 72 hours, you may receive a partial refund and a 20% processing fee will be deducted from the price of the class/workshop. 

​No refunds will be extended after the first session (for classes).

MAKE UP POLICY

​Life happens and you may miss a class. You will be allowed to make up one class from the session. 

Please request a “make up slip” that is active for the next 30 days. 

You may make up your class in any class that has room, it does not need to be the class that you originally took. 

​Make ups are limited to one class per session.
