You can get a refund or switch your date (up to 2 times) 48 hours prior to the date of your class. Refund and switching dates DO NOT happen after the 48 hr mark.

Please email [email protected] with your currently registered class and the date you want to switch to. We understand that emergencies (death, illness, car accident, etc.) happen, please notify us as soon as you can.

These classes are usually at capacity (8-10 students) and your materials prepped, unique to each student. A last minute cancellation mean someone else could have taken the class, so please email us asap so we can try to fill your spot.

Why does GPS take me to the wrong place? I honestly do not know.  I have contacted: Places, google, maps & input my info.  Many businesses in Liberty Station have the same problem.  So we have to go old school and look for landmarks & cross streets.

What is your class size? At my studio Max 12, average 8-10At your location up to 60

Can I bring food, wine? Yes, please be responsible bring  glasses, cups, plates & utensilsI have a wine opener @ studio

Can my friend come & watch? Unfortunately my studio is not able to accommodate extra guests, most of my classes are at capacity with paying students.

I want to fix or paint over something in my painting, what can I do? Please check out one of the monthly open studio sessions. You bring the canvas,  the rest of the materials are supplied ($10/hr)

I want to frame my canvas, what do you recommend? Go for it!. When purchasing your frame let one of the store employees know, so they can show you the extra hardware you need ($2) to accommodate the width of the canvas

Do you teach kids? Yes, email to arrange a private painting party for your kid. Kids 12 & older are more than welcome to sign up for a class by themselves. Kids 8-14 can attend with an adult

Can I switch my date? Yes, You can switch 1 times before the 48 hr deadline. Your 2nd & 3rd switch is an additional $10

Where are the San Diego Humane Society classes? Please check your SDHS class, classes are offered at multiple locations. Classes are held in San Diego, Escondido, Oceanside & Liberty StationPet/Animal Classes

Can I paint more than one animal/pet on my canvas? Given the time frame of the class, I recommend 1 pet per canvas. You are more than welcome to paint 2 pets.-If both pets are in the same photo - NO extra charge-If I have to combine 2 photos it is an ADDITIONAL $10 (bring cash to class)* I don’t want you to feel rushed, please keep in mind that I also run monthly open studios, you are more than welcome to bring your painting to one of those to finish

What kind of photo should I send? Photos need to be clear, in-focus & good lighting. The best photo will be chosen. If you have a preference please let me know when you send the photos

Can I bring my dog, it’s a service animal? Given that my studio is so small, and with my lease requirements, I’m not allowed to have animals in my studio.

Can I bring my pet, it's an emotional support animal? Please leave your pets at home so you can focus on painting. If everyone brought their pet it would be very distracting for the class. For emotional support animals, painting is a form of creative therapy, you will gain more benefit if your animal stays at home and you focus on you.

Can I bring my child to the class? You are more than welcome to purchase a seat for your child, 8-13 years old, to paint their pet. I recommend kids 12 & older for attending a regular class. I do not have room for extra people in my studio other than paying students. Please make arrangements for your childcare during the class, so you can concentrate on painting.

How long does it take you to pre-sketch our canvases? With all the reference materials & sketches I prep for each person; I spend about 1.5 hrs for every 10 people in class

Can I bring my own brushes? Yes, please do.

Can you sketch a canvas for me that I can work on at home? Yes, for the full set11x14 canvas + sketch + 2 reference materials = $15
