Akiyo Matsuoka

Teaches at Akiyo Matsuoka Rhino 3D Modeling

Akiyo is a jewelry designer since 1993 with an assignment to develop jewelry pieces for Escada 1994 spring/summer and fall/winter ready-to-wear collections. Since then she contributed to various jewelry and fashion companies and launched her Akiyo Matsuoka fine jewelry collection in 1997. 

Her pieces were worn by numerous celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Lucy Liu and Star Jones among others. Her collection have appeared in Vogue, Town and Country, Bride, In Style, Cosmopolitan, W, Vanity Fair and have been sold in luxury department stores and specialty retailers in the U.S. and abroad including Neiman Marcus, Takashimaya NY, Nordstrom's, Wako Japan and Lane Crawford Hong Kong.

Akiyo is an Authorized Rhino trainer since 2012 and teach Rhino 3D CAD program at FIT(Fashion Institute of Technology), Enterprise Center in New York City. Also consulting with jewelry and fashion companies for product development, jewelry and accessory design and Rhino CAD modeling. Her multi faceted knowledge and hands on experience in the industry takes her classes to another level.
