Genevieve’s interest in dog training was first sparked when she adopted a 4-month-old amputee dog who had behavioral issues. In addition to having worked as a lead trainer at Pet Smart in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, she is a graduate of Dogs Of Course’s Instructor Training Course: Teaching and Training, has volunteered at Sean Casey’s Animal Rescue in Brooklyn, and is currently attending the Karen Pryor Academy.

Prior to turning to dog training, she worked as an actress, acting coach and Alexander Technique teacher. Genevieve is committed to educating dog owners on how to effectively communicate with reactive dogs to help them become healthy, happy family members. She lives with her two dogs (Jenna and Sadie), a cat (Puma) a Betta fish (Brutus Blue), and her husband, Greg and her son, Matthew.
