David Samuel Stern

Teaches at BKC

David Samuel Stern’s photography-based work was recently awarded First Place in Manifest Gallery’s book International Photography Annual 2, and highlighted on websites such as Fast Company Design and Feature Shoot.

David earned an MFA from Washington University in St. Louis. He has been a visiting instructor at Pratt Institute, and a digital-photo archivist contractor at Brooklyn Academy of Music. This fall he is completing an artist residency at Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts in Nebraska. His work has been exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, and elsewhere.
