This three-hour session for Windows and Mac users teaches you how to write formulas in Excel. You will perform calculations using functions like SUM, AVERAGE, write arithmetic formulas by hand, parse text strings with the LEFT, MID, RIGHT and SEARCH functions, and perform calculations on dates. You will use HLOOKUP and VLOOKUP to retrieve data based on matching values, and also learn when and why to use absolute referencing (like $A$4) when duplicating formulas.
