Antonia Bendezu

Teaches at Continuing Professional Studies at Bank

Antonia Bendezu, MSEd, is a dual language, ICT special education teacher at PS 513: The Castle Bridge School in NYC and an adjunct instructor in the Early Childhood Education program at Bank Street College. She has taught early childhood through third grade in dual and monolingual settings. 

In addition, she served on the program committee of the Progressive Educators Network (PEN) and presented "Taking Reggio Inspired Practices into Public Schools" at The Wonder of Learning: Reggio Emilia Conference, NY in 2015. Ms. Bendezu holds an MSED in Dual Language/Bilingual Early Childhood Special Education from Bank Street College and a BS in Early Childhood Education and Social Science from City College, CUNY.
