Mete Erdogan

Mete Erdogan is an award winning illustrator based in Brooklyn specializing in hand-lettering and murals. Before starting Mete Design, he was a part of Saatchi & Saatchi's New York design team. Some of his advertising credits include Walmart, Lucky Charms, Cheerios, Yoplait, Theraflu and Fiber One. His typography and illustration work takes on a variety of forms, from illustrated lettering, expressive characters and digital logos to large scale hand-painted murals. His clients include Lululemon, Birchbox, Frank Body, Sweatshop Coffee, Dimension Films and Grado Labs.

He splits his time between advertising commissions, gallery shows, speaking engagements and hosting hand-lettering workshops. In his spare time he listens to other peoples' conversations and turns their them into art with the Instagram sensation Eavesdropper.

Mete gave a great class! I was really fascinated in his process and he shared some great tips on how to be an amazing illustrator. Highly recommend this class.

I like this class. I learned how to develop a concept from a simple idea. The instructor has very good manner. I enjoyed the class very much.
