Ready to create your best-selling, signature blends for soaps, candles, natural perfumes and indie beauty bath and body products? This course is an intensive blending experience. Come experience a wide variety of essential oils and learn how to create blends that will wow your customers with indie beauty expert Marla Bosworth.
Students will create two of their own blends and take them home in a beautiful, roll-on glass perfume bottle. Students also receive a valuable class handout with a supplier list. This includes a supplemental online class download in addition to the in-person workshop.
Come learn to intuitively blend without any rules, only following your inner guidance and your nose. You'll also explore creating intention blends, encoding memories of feelings, places or people. In our most recent workshop, students chose to commemorate a loved one, another chose to replicate the feeling of hiking in a forest, and another student created a blend to help inspire creativity, and much more. Why and what you blend in this class is completely up to you!
Marla will share what she's learned during her years of blending essential oils and incorporating them into soaps and beauty products. Then she will guide you through your very own, custom, essential oil blending creations in class. Custom, natural fragrance blends can increase sales for your products. If customers fall in love with your essential oil blends it will bring them back to you for more. We know they can purchase body butters, candles or soaps from a plethora of other companies, but if we have a scent blend that is unique and appealing, challenging to replicate or even energetically encoded, customers will navigate toward buying it.
This class is intended for essential oil enthusiasts, soapmakers, candlemakers, indie beauty entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in creating their own fragrance. No prior experience is needed.
Marla creates highly experiential workshops - a holistic perspective of learning by transforming new information. If you've ever attended any of her classes you know the energy she creates is positive, supportive, educational and fun.
If for some reason our class is cancelled (this has only been due to major snowstorms), we will promptly refund your registration in its entirety.
