Skye was unbelievable. I learned so much from this course, the obvious lightoom Info but also so much more. He took the time to really teach me useful information. I feel like I have more confidence now after taking this class. I’ll be signing up for another class in the future for sure.

I've had the Lightroom software for some time but really hadn't done much with it. I'd had problems with the idea of post-processing, as it seemed to me to verge on 'cheating.' That was cleared up in the first few minutes of the first evening by our instructor. After all, in 'film days' you had no choice about post-processing - you had to use chemicals to bring the picture out and depending on how much you used the chemicals you would get different results. Simple really but it opened my eyes. Then we moved to how to use the software. This was well-structured teaching by a professional photographer. Perhaps the most profound statement by her was that she had been a Photoshop junkie for years and resisted going to Lightroom despite the urging of her friends. Now that she uses LR, the vast majority of her work is done in LR, not Photoshop. That's quite an endorsement for LR from a professional. The course was properly paced for the student body knowledge. There was plenty of time to practise, rehears and receive individual guidance. I, and each of the other students, commented that there was a marked improvement in our photographs. For me, the key was that I now know how to bring out the photograph I thought I was taking, from the RAW data that I actually took. I highly recommend the course.
