He has been writing and performing sketch comedy for 20 years, starting at Emerson College, where he earned his BFA. He is a founding member of both TROOP! and The Riot Act, performing with them at both UCB NYC and LA, iO East and West, The Comedy Central Stage, and festivals like The Vancouver Comedy Festival, Sketchfest NYC, SF Sketchfest, and both The Chicago Sketchfest and Chicago's Improv Festival. He has been screenwriting for 6 years, in television on shows like MTV's The Hard Times of RJ Berger and for film projects like The LEGO Ninjago Movie for Warner Brothers. He has sold original scripts to FOX, NBC, and Cartoon Network as well working on screenplays for Adult Swim, Happy Madison, and Paramount.
