Riverdel Vegan Cheese

Description

Riverdel is the original vegan cheese monger. When you arrive at Riverdel, you’ll immediately notice the vast display case filled with several large wheels of vegan cheese, which are sold by weight and then personally wrapped in paper; a very traditional cheese shop experience.

In addition to carrying several well-known brands of vegan cheese, Riverdel proudly offers a highly curated selection of artisanal vegan cheeses, ranging from local purveyors to special selections from further abroad, often from Canada and Europe. Several large wheels of Riverdel’s house made cheese, “Billy”, are usually aging to perfection in our walk-in cheese cave.

Since first opening in Brooklyn, NY, in 2015, Riverdel has continuously strived to be the foremost expert in vegan cheese. Five years later, Riverdel has fully relocated to the historic Essex Market in Manhattan, New York City.

this class was GREAT! really grateful that we had the option to have the cheese shipped to us, it was so much fun and i looked forward to it all week! the cheeses themselves were fabulous. our instructor was super kind and knowledgeable about vegan cheeses! would absolutely love to do something like this again. many thanks!

Truly great cheeses, very informative teacher, and a lively interactive experience. One suggestion: It would have been very helpful if the cheeses shipped had been labelled.
