Question from K
What's the location of class? Is this a certification or license class? Are grades are added to community college?
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Medical Assistant Training program is a 6-course series. The course is to prepare you to be a Medical Assistant and sit for the Medical Assistant Certification Exam. Once completing the 6-courses, students are placed in an unpaid externship for 160 hours. This is a short-term (9 months to a year), not-for-credit, certificate of completion program which then qualifies you to sit for the certification exam with the CCBMA (California Certifying Board for Medical Assistants). There no credits are given for this program; these classes do not go on your official college transcripts. Medical Assistant 5 is just one part of this 6-course + externship program.

Hi there! The classroom location will be provided by El Camino College after confirmation of enrollment. The $575 is the fee for the 5-week course. There is no job placement. Hope this is helpful.
