Part 1: Feedback is More Important Than an MBA

We know feedback can be powerful than an MBA, but why is it so hard to give and receive?

Fear. We’re afraid of being honest. We’re afraid of hurting people and breaking trust.

Relationships are at the heart of good feedback. I take inspiration from Radical Candor — an approach to feedback inspired by former Google executive Kim Scott (who Melissa had the chance to interview!) that sits at the intersection of kindness and no bull shit.

Building off the principles of Radical Candor, we’ll hold emotional space for you to explore your fears and battle scars from hard-to-hear feedback. Transforming fear into action, we’ll share a simple yet powerful framework for receiving and giving difficult feedback to your teammates.

Part 2: A good 1:1 conversation can change your life

Building off her practice as an Executive Coach and the principles of the Coaching Training Institute (where Melissa got her start), we’ll share tried-and-tested learnings and simple, yet powerful exercises for have deeply impactful conversations with your team.
