Unlock the power of effective essay writing for young minds! Join our course at East Los Angeles College and learn about different essay types, how to craft a strong thesis statement, and master the art of structuring paragraphs. Enroll now and watch your writing skills soar!
In this class we will discuss different types of essays such as argumentative, narrative, and compare and contrast. Students will be presented with appropriate ways to write an essay. Students will learn to write adequate thesis statement and will be presented with useful methods that will help them compose introductory, body, and concluding paragraphs appropriately.
Location notes:
There are no refunds or transfers after a class begins. Requests to withdraw from a class or transfer to another Community Services class must be done 5 OR MORE DAYS prior to the first class meeting. There is a $15 service charge per class for each refund or transfer requested. If you enrolled in a class less than 5 days prior to the first class meeting, NO refunds will be given. There are no refunds or credits for absences and late registrations are not pro-rated. Missed class meetings may not be made up in another class.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
