I have worn make-up for nearly 30 years, and have gotten make-overs and advice from make-up counters, Sephora, and online tutorials. However, as I get older I’ve started to wonder if there are better products and techniques out there for me. I’m so glad I went to Shara! I learned SO much valuable information from Maggie. She addressed my concerns and showed me techniques and tricks I was unaware of, and I now feel confident that I have the right makeup and tools. My only suggestion is that they provide a printed diagram that can be used to draw in where makeup should go/makes notes. Although they do provide a sheet with instructions, of sorts, I personally feel like a visual representation would be more helpful. It was a lot of information.

I thought it was a very informative class. Coursehorse needs to change their address as I went to the wrong place and had to rush to the new location which was 10 blocks away! The service was great.

Love, Love, Love! I really enjoyed the one on one tutorial I received. Maggie was so patient and explained how to use products very well. Her recommendations were also very helpful in learning about why we need certain tools when applying makeup. I would definitely recommend this class!

I’ve been wearing makeup for 22 years and wish I had booked a session years ago! My skin has been changing in recent years and I could never figure out why my makeup routine wasn’t making my skin look flawless. I bought tons of makeup that I saw people using on YouTube makeup tutorials and had no idea what to do with it. Anyway, being a better learner when getting hands-on experience, something finally clicked and I’m super grateful for it! The makeup line is very reasonably priced, too! I left feeling very happy and full of confidence. I’m recommending this to all of my gal pals, for sure!

I was warmly greeted by the artist and enjoyed learning in the brightly-lit, chicly-decorated space! I learned tricks for highlighting and for applying concealer and had the chance to try out a few new products. I appreciated the one-to-one, in- person interaction and the chance to ask questions. The hour flew by!

So helpful!! Really thorough, so many of my long standing questions on products, placements, things I found confusing, etc. were all answered. Really helpful in refining my make-up skills. Spending one hour here will save you so much in the long run and you’ll look even better! Highly recommend.

I’m so thankful I did this lesson. I brought in my own makeup, so she taught me how to use the products I already have. I learned how to create the exact look I wanted and feel confident enough to produce it on my own. She also taught me so many tips and tricks along the way. I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to update their look or simply learn how to apply makeup better.

Maggie was my makeup artist. The intimate setting and Maggie's personality made me feel at ease throughout the lesson. I learned a lot and Maggie was full of helpful techniques and tricks that I've never heard before. She knows her craft well and it shows. They also don't push their products on you, but let you know what is available. I would go back again.
