Video Post Production Training: Bootcamp

This training event is a packaged and discounted courseware that includes our popular Premiere Pro and After Effects Essential Skills 1 courses.

Learn the essential toolset for video post-production in this comprehensive Premiere Pro training. Your instructor will work with you to effectively edit video using three point editing, adding transitions and audio and video effects. Import video, edit and export your media to a variety of platforms including for web, remastering and broadcast. Create titles and credits, animation, and process different image formats into your video such as Illustrator and Photoshop files. Learn to edit your audio tracks and import audio background music and foley adjusted to the right levels.

Learn After Effects to create rich compositions with video, Photoshop, Illustrator and other files. Utilize advanced text effects, video blending, keying effects and track mattes. Work from a fundamental level to more advanced animation techniques while learning After Effects tools and workflows for productivity. Your instructor will also cover nesting, creating precomps, motion tracking and other methods for streamlining video post production.

Some of the class projects will include topics covering Motion Graphics, Kinetic Typography, Cinemagraphs and Motion Tracking.

Course Outline

• Learn basic time changes using Time/Duration and the Rate Stretch tool
• Create titles using the Title Tool, Photoshop and Illustrator files
• Manipulate audio with level, editors and effects
• Use bins to organize media and create storyboards
• Learn basic animation techniques
• Add sophisticated color correction with the Lumetri Color panel
• Fix audio issues with Adobe Audition
• Merge interview audio with video clips
• Learn After Effects workflows
• Create After Effect Compositions to match your project needs
• Integrate a video, audio, images, layered Photoshop, and Illustrator files
• Manipulate transformation properties, blend modes, keyframes and ease transitions of objects in the timeline
• Become familiar with animating techniques
• Parent objects together to share transformation properties and animation
• Learn the difference between layer masks and track mattes
• Get introduced to the fundamentals of tracking
• Utilize effects for the keying of footage
• Create lower third graphics, animate and composite
• Learn Adobe Media Encoder to render
