Kanwal Jehan is the Head of Community and Marketing at LiquidTalent, a marketplace that connects web developers and designers with game-changing companies. LiquidTalent’s mission is to connect the world's most exceptional talent with meaningful, professional opportunities on demand. While she enjoys working at LiquidTalent, she also loves to mentor and is currently a technical marketing instructor at StartUp Institute. Before, LiquidTalent, Kanwal was the Marketing Director for Codify Academy, a front-end development bootcamp and the organizer/creator for the Women in Tech panel series. Her passion is building communities organically, online and offline. She is known for her events around the tech space and is currently hosting “The Future of Work Summits” in New York City.

She career transitioned a year and a half ago from the corporate law firm world to the startup world through a career accelerator, StartUp Institute. She also currently supports a Millennial’s non-profit called SparkNYC that supports grassroots women’s causes in New York and around the world. She sat on Spark’s board for two years. Now, she is giving all of her time to LiquidTalent and mentoring young individuals in fields such as marketing, technology and community management.

Other than her professional aspirations, she loves traveling and recently went to Bali on a spiritual journey by herself. She hiked “mount batur” one of the most active volcanoes in Bali, at 2 am to watch the sunrise from the top.
