What you'll learn in this photoshop class:

The premier photo manipulation software used almost exclusively by designers around the world, Photoshop remains the industry standard when it comes to photo correction, touch-up and manipulation. In this three-hour introductory class, you'll see how Photoshop can clean up even the roughest photos and make them pristine again, add and delete elements in a photo, and learn the various filters that can take your photos to the next level. You will also look at how layering works as well as how to add text to your photos.

If you are interested in doing more with your photos and want to see what the program can offer you, this is a great way to get started! Jeff Danelek has over 30 years in the graphics industry and has spent literally thousands of hours working in Photoshop cleaning up and color correcting photos for use in catalogs and websites for a wide ranging clientele. Besides teaching various classes at CFU and throughout the Front Range, he maintains a small design studio out of his home as well as writes novels in his spare time.

Refund Policy

If CFU cancels a class, you have the option for a full refund of the tuition or to move your registration to another session of the class.

If you cannot attend a class you must contact the registration office at least 72 hours prior to your first class meeting. There are no refunds if you cancel out of/cannot attend your class. With 72 hours advanced notice we can transfer you to another available class or give you a non-refundable tuition credit to use towards another class in the future. There will be a $7 transaction fee for dropping or transferring out of the original class.

If you need to cancel out of a Computer class with less than 72 hours advanced notice, there is no credit issued, but you will be able to take the class at a later time on a standby basis (waiting until the day before to opt in so that CFU knows that the class is running and that there is space).

If you need to cancel a Spanish class under 72 hours, you will receive a non-refundable class credit for 50% of the tuition for the class. Tuition credit is valid for one year from date of issue and cannot be redeemed for cash and is non-refundable. There is no option for dropping a class after the class has begun.

Do you supply photoshop to any who do not already own it?? Do have to have photoshop already installed on your computer or is this strictly a lecture with no hands on? Please email me the answers at [email protected] and title it photoshop. Thank you, Jamie

Class is hand-on. You work on one of the PCs in our lab that have the program uploaded. You do not need to bring our own computer.
