What you'll learn in this macaron class:

Macarons are an epic, gorgeous treat – a delicate cookie that demonstrates your amazing baking skills.

In this virtual hands-on workshop, you’ll make, flavor, pipe, and fill bake a gorgeous batch of French macarons. Whether you’ve tried to make them before and had some challenges or never tried to make them but just love to eat them, this is the class for you!

We will discuss the ingredients that go into making amazing macarons, how to spice up your macarons by adding flavors, and the techniques that will ensure that your macarons always turn out beautifully.

Through the magic of Zoom, I’ll demo a batch of macarons for you, then coach you through making a batch of your own, in your own kitchen, using your ingredients and materials.

You’ll leave class with a pan of gorgeous sweet treats and the knowledge and confidence to make macarons anytime.


Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

The instructor was very nice and obviously knew her craft. Her macarons came out perfectly. And mine were embarrassingly bad, to no fault of the instructor. I’ve come to the conclusion that macarons don’t lend themselves to virtual classes. I’m a good cook and baker but making macarons have been a challenge and I think next time, I’ll take one of your courses in NYC, where I live, in person. I would like to thank the instructor for her patience and good nature on the face of my lack of incompetence

This class was great! Chelly did a great job of guiding step by step but also leaving room for questions. She had great ideas for flavor combos and worked with me to sub filling ingredients as needed.
