What you'll learn in this gardening class:

Grab a drink and get your hands dirty in this DIY houseplant workshop. Learn why houseplants are such great additions to your home. Find out which types of plant might be right for you and how to care for it so it keeps you company for years to come.

Then assemble your own dish garden with a variety of small houseplants that you can take home. Decorate it with mosses and stones.

Note:

  • All supplies, a drink from the bar, and light snacks are included.
  • Held indoors. All supplies included. Ages 21+. One drink is included in the cost of the program, cash bar to follow.


School Notes: The registrars office is the one who confirms registrations ([email protected]). They respond to emails Monday through Friday between 8:30 and 4pm. If a student registers through Coursehorse on Friday evening for a Saturday class, we will not have a way to confirm them.

Refund Policy

Refund requests must be submitted to the registrar by email ([email protected]) or by phone (630-719-2468) one full business day prior to the program start date. 

Fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable within 24 hours the program’s start date. The Morton Arboretum cannot refund fees requested on or after the start date of a program or for sessions missed due to student illness or other personal situations. 

Students will be issued a full refund in the event that The Morton Arboretum cancels a class for any reason.
