Introduction to Cake Decorating

In this workshop, our chef instructor will walk you through the process of making silky meringue buttercream that is perfect for cake decorating. You will learn to level your cakes, stack and fill the layers, do a crumb coat, and a smooth top coat. You will also learn a variety of piping techniques. Each student will take home a 6″ layer cake that they decorated in class

• How to make a simple meringue buttercream
• How to level cake layers
• How to fill cake layers
• How to crumb coat
• Creating a smooth top coat
• A variety of piping techniques

• A 2 1/2-hour hands-on class
• All learning materials with detailed notes to take home with you
• A 4-inch layer cake that you decorated in class
• Snacks during class

Note: 

All classes are priced per person. We keep classes small so everyone can get ample attention from our chef instructor. While you will be taking delicious treats home with you, the ticket cost is based on the experience and instruction you will receive. Thank you for understanding.

Allergens & Dietary Restrictions

All of our classes are peanut and tree nut free, however, be aware that our facility does contain peanuts and tree nuts.

This class does include wheat, dairy, and eggs. We can offer a gluten-free cake for you if you would like. We do take all precautions to make sure there is no cross contamination, however please be aware that our facility uses wheat flour daily and we do not have a separate gluten-free facility.
