Join nature photographer Larry Winslett to explore the rich gardens and practice your close-up and macro photography techniques on the beautiful Orchid collection.
You will practice the art of composition, designing your images, controlling your backgrounds, and learn tips and techniques for capturing the beauty and uniqueness of the collection.
The Atlanta Botanical Garden has a 35 year history of displaying a plant collection of unusual and interesting sculptures, flowers - both common and exotic and much more to inspire and motivate great photography! The mission of the Atlanta Botanical Garden is to develop and maintain plant collections for display, education, research, conservation and enjoyment.
Directions and additional details provided the week of the workshop.
Prerequisite: Photo 1 or equivalent in skills.
